Nine is Great!

My big guy turned 9 this week. It doesn't seem like he should be that big already. I remember when he was born... So little and so cuddly. Now he is neither. Not so little and doesn't like to cuddle. (He is to big for that) He loves playing with this Nintendo DS, Legos and loves drawing. He loves school and is doing very well. His favorite subjects are Math and Science. It has been so fun watching him grow. We love you and hope you have a wonderful year being 9.

The New Room!

Garrett wanted his room repainted because he didn't like the blue anymore. So I decided what I wanted to do and told James "We're going to Lowes." I went and bought wood so we can make a chair rail then paint a Utah Utes room. It took a weekend to put up the wood and get it caulked (thanks to Grandpa Dan) then the painting took an entire week. It took 10 coats of paint. 5 on top and 5 on the bottom. I think it turned out pretty good and Garrett loved his b-day present...
