Bathroom Cabinets

I want to refinish my bathroom cabinets. Over the years it is starting to dry out so I thought I would try it in the main bathroom first because if I didn't like how it turned out we have a new vanity to replace it with.


First I cut (or had my dad cut) some Wainscoating to put on the door fronts. So I clued it down and clamped it for a day then I caulked the edges. It took me a while to caulk because it was my first time but I think I did it pretty well. Then I primed the door and added 3 coats of satin black paint. After it dried I sanded it down and antiqued it. Then I finished it off with a glossy finish. I actually really like how it turned out so I think I'm going to leave this vanity in the bathroom. Now I can't decide what color I want to do in my bathroom. Black or Dark Coffee Brown. Decision... Decisions...

Playing in the Rain/Snow

Granny and Grandpa Ed finally decided to put in a new fence since 2 or 3 sections fell down. So the weekend before the new fence was going to be installed they needed to take down the rest of the old fence and pull out 5 posts. So of course that day was raining and snowing all day. It was such a soggy mess. Every time the post seemed like it was coming out the clay would suck it back down into the ground. What would of took them a couple hours on a clear day took them all day.
