Bowling

Yesterday I took the kids bowling since Garrett is off track I thought it would be fun to do something. So I didn't tell them where we were going and when we pulled into the parking lot they were both so excited. So here are some pictures of them having fun. They played 3 games and the first game Garrett won so he was thrilled but then the second game Katelyn won by 15 points. (Garrett wasn't so happy) Then the last game Garrett won by one point. But it was funny because Garrett said real bowling isn't as easy as playing bowling on the WII.

Our Field Trip

So we went to the pet store last Thursday for Katelyn's field trip for Preschool. Garrett and Katelyn had so much fun because they had a few new puppies. They had a really cute Golden Retriever puppy that looked so cuddly and soft. But here they are holding a cute little Yorkie puppy.
Thanks Mrs. Mitchell for the fun field trip. They really like seeing all the fun animals. Like the birds, snakes, turtles, fish and of course the cute dogs.

Seriously!

So I took Garrett to the doctors again today because he said his throat was sore. So of course, he has Strep Throat again. This is the 3rd time since December. And the weird thing about it is that he is getting it each month around the same time. In December I took him to the doctors on December 14th, in January it was on the 15th and now it is February 17th. So he said if Garrett gets it again we will need to talk about getting his tonsils out. So as we were leaving the doctors office the doctor said "See you next month." He is not funny.

Garrett turned 7

I can't believe that Garrett is already 7 years old. I asked James if he felt bad knowing that Garrett was turning 7 and he said No. Then he asked if it made me sad. And I am. Not because he is getting older but I realized that he isn't a little boy anymore. He is more independent and wants to do more things by himself. But seeing him grow has been alot of fun. Happy Birthday Buddy!

Garrett lost his tooth!

So Garrett finally lost his first tooth. It started getting loose in October but he didn't like to play with it so it took 3 months to fall out. In the meantime his permanent tooth has already started coming in.

Growing out the hair!

So Garrett has been growing out his hair and let me tell you it has been a really hard thing for me. His hair is to the point that it doesn't want to slick back or spike up. He want to wear his hair just combed forward and I think it looks silly. But I asked him why he wanted to grow his hair out and he said it was because he wanted the things that dad has (side burns). I told him that would happen for a while but he wants to grow his hair out anyways. This top picture was taken in August and he probably had one more haircut in September and that's it.This was the end of October.
And this is the end of December.
And still going.

Way to go Utes!

How about those UTES. That game was so awesome. We are glad to see that our Utah Utes are the #1 college team in the United States. Way to go!
